“The one who doesn’t love has yet to know God, for God is love.” 1 John 4:8 TPT.
The true knowledge of God is seen in how much we express His love towards fellow man. As Christians, it’s impossible to know God and not walk in love. Because to know God is to come into the glorious liberty of the children of God.“because the creature itself also shall be delivered from the bondage of corruption into the glorious liberty of the children of God.” Romans 8:21 KJV.
When you get to know Him, you look with His eyes, touch with His hands and feel with His compassion. The real beauty of heaven and glory the Apostle described as Christ in you the hope of glory (“…..; which is Christ in you, the hope of glory:” Colossians 1:27 KJV) is His liquid love experienced and dispensed. It is the tangibility of God felt, seen and heard.
The Lord Holy Spirit is the communicator of this divine love. “that will never disappoint us. All of this happens because God has given us the Holy Spirit, who fills our hearts with his love.”
Romans 5:5 CEV. He is the Spirit of Love, where He is, there is liberty because love liberates “……: and where the Spirit of the Lord is, there is liberty.” 2 Corinthians 3:17 KJV.
So, if you do not walk in love, you don’t know Him because to know Him is to love. When you know Him you become just like Him. “But we all, with open face beholding as in a glass the glory of the Lord, are changed into the same image from glory to glory, even as by the Spirit of the Lord.” 2 Corinthians 3:18 KJV. The more you behold Him, the more like Him you become in character, attitude, thinking and actions.
