Apostle Geoffrey Okeny is the Founder and Vision Bearer of Zoe Kingdom Ministries International, a Christ-centered ministry dedicated to raising generations of Kingdom-minded believers who understand their identity in Christ and manifest His divine life to the nations.

With a deep passion for evangelism, discipleship, and the teaching of God’s Word, Apostle Geoffrey has devoted his life to equipping believers to walk in their inheritance in Christ and fulfill the Great Commission. His ministry is marked by a commitment to raising leaders, planting churches, reaching young people, and proclaiming the Gospel with the power of the Holy Spirit.

His Journey of Faith

Apostle Geoffrey received Jesus Christ as his Lord and personal Savior in 2002 while in Senior Five. From the beginning of his Christian walk, he became actively involved in evangelism, missions, prayer, and leadership, participating in numerous outreach initiatives during both his secondary school and university years.

His desire to see lives transformed by the Gospel became the foundation for a lifelong ministry dedicated to reaching people with the message of Jesus Christ.

Early Ministry Leadership

While studying at Kyambogo University, Uganda, Apostle Geoffrey emerged as a passionate student leader and missionary.

His leadership roles included:

  • Prayer Secretary, Christian Union (2006)
  • Missions Coordinator, Christian Union (2007)
  • Chairperson, Normods Mission Team (2008)

These years provided practical opportunities to lead prayer movements, organize evangelistic missions, disciple young believers, and develop future ministry leaders.

The Birth of a Ministry

In 2009, Apostle Geoffrey founded Youth of Divine Destiny Ministries International (YDD) with a vision to reach young people through evangelism, discipleship, leadership development, and missions.

Through YDD, thousands of students and young adults encountered the Gospel through:

  • Open-air crusades
  • School outreaches
  • University fellowships
  • Leadership training programs
  • Community missions
  • Evangelistic conferences

As the ministry continued to grow, God expanded the vision beyond youth ministry.

In 2022, the ministry transitioned into Zoe Kingdom Ministries International, reflecting a broader mandate to raise rooted and established associates of the God-kind, walking in their inheritance in Christ, fulfilling the Great Commission, and manifesting the divine life among the nations.

Ministry Impact

Over the years, God has used Apostle Geoffrey’s ministry to bring the Gospel to countless individuals through crusades, church planting, leadership training, missions, and discipleship.

The ministry has received numerous testimonies of lives transformed through faith in Jesus Christ, including reports of physical healing, deliverance, restored hope, and people making decisions to follow Christ. Through these outreaches, hundreds of thousands of people have heard the Gospel, and many have publicly confessed Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior.

Spiritual Growth and Mentorship

Apostle Geoffrey has been greatly influenced by the ministry of Pastor Chris Oyakhilome since 2012 through his teachings and ministry resources.

In 2022, he publicly embraced Pastor Chris as his spiritual father and has continued to strengthen his ministry through active participation in international leadership and ministry training, including:

  • International Pastors’ and Partners’ Conference (IPPC)
  • The Global Ministers’ Classroom
  • International School of Ministry (ISM)

He also actively partners with ministry initiatives that advance the Gospel worldwide, including Healing School programs, Healing Centers, Festival of Miracles campaigns, and the widespread distribution of the Rhapsody of Realities devotional.

Marriage and Family

Apostle Geoffrey has been happily married to Sara Okeny since 2014.

Together, they are committed to serving God and advancing His Kingdom. Their family is actively involved in ministry, hosting Healing Centers, supporting evangelistic missions, and serving the Body of Christ. They are blessed with uniquely gifted children and remain passionate about building strong Christian families founded on biblical values.

Global Ministry

Apostle Geoffrey’s ministry continues to expand beyond Uganda.

He has ministered in Ethiopia and other nations and has received invitations to minister in countries including the United States, the United Kingdom, and beyond. His passion is to see every nation impacted by the Gospel and every believer equipped to live the victorious life available in Christ.

Ministry Milestones

By God’s grace, Apostle Geoffrey’s ministry has witnessed significant milestones, including:

  • More than 15 years of active ministry.
  • Establishment of Youth of Divine Destiny (YDD) chapters in over 10 universities across Uganda.
  • Gospel outreaches conducted in more than 1,000 schools.
  • Planting of seven churches under Zoe Kingdom Ministries International.
  • Open-air crusades held in more than 20 cities across Uganda.
  • Leadership training and discipleship programs that have equipped pastors, ministers, youth leaders, and believers for effective Kingdom service.
  • Countless testimonies of transformed lives, salvation, healing, restoration, and renewed hope through the preaching of the Gospel.

His Calling

Apostle Geoffrey Okeny remains committed to preaching the uncompromised Word of God, raising mature disciples of Jesus Christ, equipping Kingdom leaders, and advancing the Gospel to the ends of the earth.

His heart’s desire is to see believers firmly rooted in Christ, walking in their divine inheritance, living victoriously by the Holy Spirit, and demonstrating the reality of God’s Kingdom wherever they are sent.
