Testimonies

In 2021, I felt a strong desire to find a lifetime partner. Despite being unsure of the principles that sustain a successful marriage, I proposed to a lady, now my wife, but she rejected me. Undeterred, I continued to nurture our friendship and encouraged her to attend fellowships.

In 2023, she accepted my proposal. At IDC 2024, I received a prophetic message from Apostle Ron Guloba, advising me to get married. With the guidance of Apostle Geoffrey Okeny and Pastor Norah Kisomose, we navigated the three holy matrimonial celebrations in 2024.

Notably, these celebrations were the first of their kind in both our families. I’m grateful to have found a spiritual home and to be happily married. This testimony is a testament to God’s faithfulness and the power of prophecy.

“My Job Miracle”

“I had been trusting God for a good job. One Sunday, our Apostle shared a powerful message about God’s desire for His children to have fulfilling careers. He instructed us to write down our dream job details, including the ideal work environment, salary, and conditions. I received the word and promptly wrote down my heart’s desires.

After graduating in 2023, I continued to pray and declare my written desires, just as the Apostle had advised. At the beginning of this year, I sent out my CV and was quickly invited for an interview. To my amazement, I landed the job soon after! I give all the glory to God, who has faithfully answered my prayers and exceeded my expectations”

“5 Souls in 20 Minutes”

“As the Shepherd PM team, we embarked on a community outreach, sharing the Gospel with several individuals. Despite initial rejections, we persevered, witnessing the transformative power of God’s Word.

We encountered a young girl dancing to secular music and teaching others. After sharing the Gospel, she surrendered her life to Christ!

Next, we met three young men watching movies. Initially, they were unreceptive, but remembering Bishop Dags’ words, “If they’re not afraid to sin, I won’t be ashamed of this gospel,” we shared the Gospel, and all three gave their lives to Christ!

We also met an individual who readily accepted Christ.

Within 20 minutes of preaching the Gospel boldly, we witnessed five souls give their lives to Christ! We give all glory to God for this incredible harvest

In December 2023, I went for my internship in Gulu. After completing my internship in January 2024, I didn’t want to stay back in the village. I carried my bag and told my parents that I would be leaving for Kampala. They asked me, ‘What are you going to do in Kampala?’ I told them, ‘Jobs will locate me.’ They asked me again, ‘Where are you going to stay?’ I told them, ‘Don’t worry about me, I will have somewhere to stay.’

I carried my bag in January 2024 and came to Kampala. I went to my former hostel and begged the custodian to allow me to stay. By God’s grace, she allowed me to stay. Life was really hard; I could barely eat. Sometimes I would have to wash the utensils used by the guys who were around, hoping that they would give me food afterwards. Some gave me food, and some didn’t. I would buy cassava for 300 Ugandan shillings and eat it with water every evening.

I was tired, depressed, and very confused, regardless of the fact that I had been the chairperson of the Kyambogo Christian Union. The people I led used to call me ‘Papa,’ but by that time, that title ‘Papa’ could not make sense to me, because the things that were happening in my life could not relate to that title.

I would come to church to seek God about the matter literally every day. In that season, the man of God was teaching about the message titled ‘The Unstoppable Word of God.’ I started listening to that message, and one day it dawned on me that I should take some good days to fast and also rewrite down the list of the things that I wanted God to do for me.

I would fast, pray, and confess the word, but still, something was not right, except for the instruction that came to me that I should join the ushering department. After joining the department, there was one faithful day; it was a Saturday, which was a day for ushers to clean the sanctuary. I came that day, and I didn’t find anyone, and later I was told that the ushers had gone for some training.

I wanted to go back, but the Holy Spirit forbade me and instructed me to clean the church alone. It was the first time I cleaned that carpet and the entire church. My knees got wounded while cleaning the carpet, because whichever part I would clean, it would look like it had gone back to normal, and the Holy Spirit would say, ‘Go back and clean again.’ I got so tired and hungry that I felt I needed to break the fast; I started walking towards the wife of Mr. Okumu, by that time she was preparing food for the builders, and I wanted her to help me with something to eat. The Holy Spirit told me, ‘There is no food for you; you should go and should not allow anybody to see you.’ I argued and debated with the Holy Ghost, but I had to take heed of the instructions.

I didn’t finish arranging the chairs, but no sooner had I left than the ushers and protocols came back from the training. As I was going, there was so much joy in my spirit, and the Holy Ghost said to me, ‘For this one secret labor for me, you will receive an open reward.’ Two days later, I received a call from the man of God, Apostle Geoffrey Okeny. When I saw the call, the Holy Ghost told me, ‘This is it!’ My hands began to vibrate; I couldn’t hold the phone well.

I went and met him at church, only for him to tell me that Erick, I want you to shift to the ministry offices and help in the follow-up department. I had never shared with him about my situations, and usually, I find it hard to share my situations. After that meeting, I felt like a chain was removed from my legs. That was the beginning of peace, joy in my life. That’s how I ended up getting a 4×6 bed from the gentleman I visited, and I got my first job. Hallelujah, glory to God. There is nothing God can not do. A very big thank you to the most excellent Apostle, Apostle Geoffrey Okeny.

Give thanks.

And out of them shall proceed thanksgiving and the voice of them that make merry: and I will multiply them, and they shall not be few; I will also glorify them, and they shall not be small
