GROW YOUR FAITH

5th August 2026

“We ought and indeed are obligated [as those in debt] to give thanks always to God for you, brethren, as is fitting, because your faith is growing exceedingly and the love of every one of you each toward the others is increasing and abounds.” ‭‭2 Thessalonians‬ ‭1‬:‭3‬ ‭AMPC‬‬

To grow means something or a person is increasing in value, size, strength and ability. Faith has been given to every believer salvation and it’s that seed of faith that makes it possible for one  to get born again “For by grace you have been saved through faith, and that not of yourselves; it is the gift of God,” Ephesians‬ ‭2‬:‭8‬ ‭NKJV‬‬. Without faith that came through the message of the gospel you wouldn’t have received the grace that saved you.

Only a living organism has the ability to grow. Our faith comes from the seed of God’s word. The sower sows the word” Mark‬ ‭4‬:‭14‬ ‭NKJV‬‬. That therefore, means faith is a living force. It grows in quantity by gathering more seeds into our hearts. When you let the word of God dwell in you richly, you will have an abundance of faith. The scripture says “So then faith cometh by hearing, and hearing by the word of God”  Romans 10:17 KJV.

Faith is compared to a grain of a mustard seed in the scriptures “So the Lord said, “If you have faith as a mustard seed, you can say to this mulberry tree, ‘Be pulled up by the roots and be planted in the sea,’ and it would obey you” Luke‬ ‭17‬:‭6‬ ‭NKJV‬‬. When you want a seed to grow you plant it into the soil.

“Then He said, To what shall we liken the kingdom of God? It is like a mustard seed which, when it is sown on the ground, is smaller than all the seeds on earth; but when it is sown, it grows up and becomes greater than all herbs…” Mark‬ ‭4‬:‭30‬-‭32‬ ‭NKJV‬‬. Our faith grows in strength when we plant it into the soil; this is putting our faith to work.

CONFESSION

I declare in the name of the Lord Jesus Christ that my faith grows exceedingly strong and great. As I read, listen, study and meditate on God’s word, my faith is increasing. And as I put my faith to work, it’s strengthened by the power of the Lord Holy Ghost. Thank you Lord Jesus, for  I move from faith to faith, hallelujah.
