“For if by the one man’s offense death reigned through the one, much more those who receive abundance of grace and of the gift of righteousness will reign in life through the One, Jesus Christ. ” Romans 5:17 NKJV.
Many of God’s people want to live the life that Christ died and brought them into, but either many have not been taught or have not been taught well. Success in the Kingdom is a function of the right and accurate knowledge of God’s word, not how long someone has been born again. And I am not talking about head knowledge but revelation knowledge given by the Lord Holy Ghost.
This is an early part of the year, ask yourself some sobering questions, do you like the way your Christian life is? If yes, you can make it better; if not, you can change, and Voice of Rhema is the right material in your hands. If you have been studying this daily devotional, you have already learned that righteousness is a gift; you don’t work for it.
The theme verse is highlighting two important things for a Christian to reign in life: 1- receiving abundance of grace and 2- the gift of righteousness. When you became born again, you received the gift of righteousness already. Someone is saying I am not sure if I got it. Are you born again? Then you have it fully.
How do you receive abundance of grace? Do you know you can multiply grace in your life? Through the increased knowledge of the word of God, “Grace and peace be multiplied to you in the knowledge of God and of Jesus our Lord,” II Peter 1:2 NKJV, and humility, “…………… In every relationship, each of you must wrap around yourself the apron of a humble servant. Because: God resists you when you are proud but multiplies grace and favor when you are humble.” 1 Peter 5:5 TPT. As you collect more grace, learning the word of God through church, private messages, and various ministry platforms, you’ll be empowered to reign in life.
CONFESSION
I reign in life by the abundance of grace and the righteousness of God flowing through me. Today, I step into my inheritance of victory, authority, and divine favor, walking boldly as a child of the Most High. Hallelujah! I reign in life through Christ Jesus!
