EFFECT OF RIGHTEOUSNESS 2

EFFECT OF RIGHTEOUSNESS
EFFECT OF RIGHTEOUSNESS

“And the effect of righteousness will be peace [internal and external], And the result of righteousness will be quietness and confident trust forever.” Isaiah 32:17 AMP

The second thing righteousness produces according to Isaiah 32:17 is quietness. It is close to Peace but not exactly. Quietness is a certain divine calmness that is brought into your life as a result of righteousness. Even in the face of opposition you are not moved because you know what you are made of.

When kings plot against the Lord and His anointed, the one with everlasting righteousness laughs. “The kings of the earth set themselves, and the rulers take counsel together, Against the LORD, and against his anointed, saying, let us break their bands asunder, and cast away their cords from us. He that sitteth in the heavens shall laugh: The Lord shall have them in derision.” Psalm 2:2-4 KJV

This mentality comes with the righteous nature you got when you became born again. If you are not walking in the reality of it, it is because of ignorance_ but now you know. Look at Job 5:22 NLT: “You will laugh at destruction and famine; wild animals will not terrify you.” This can only be possible if you know you are made of what God is made of – righteousness.

The Lord wants us His children to copy Him “THEREFORE BE imitators of God [copy Him and follow His example], as well-beloved children [imitate their father].” Ephesians 5:1 AMPC. Don’t cry or mourn over destruction or famine, but rather laugh it off. Respond the way your father would. He gave us His nature so that we may live just as Him, in glory.

CONFESSION
I am righteous and full of glory, just as my beloved father is. My response to any circumstances is just as God would respond to them. I refuse to fear or yield to it because the righteous nature has produced in me quietness forever. Hallelujah.
