“But the Comforter, which is the Holy Ghost, whom the Father will send in my name, he shall teach you all things, and bring all things to your remembrance, whatsoever I have said unto you.” John 14:26 KJV
God never intended His children to walk in ignorance; that is why He sent us the person of the Holy Spirit. Our opening Scripture lets us know that the Holy Ghost will teach us all things and bring all things to our remembrance. This is remarkable! This teaching applies to all aspects of life, including finances, marriage, business, and raising children.
Through the Holy Spirit, believers are instructed in truth, righteousness, and wisdom. His teaching produces spiritual growth and maturity. Unlike human instruction, the Holy Spirit teaches from within. He illuminates the Scriptures and applies them to everyday life situations. As declared in 1 John 2:27, the anointing teaches us all things and keeps us rooted in truth. The Holy Spirit’s teaching ministry guards believers from deception.
The Spirit also reminds us of the words of Jesus, which is why studying the Word is essential. The Holy Spirit brings understanding and timely remembrance of Scripture, guiding believers in conversations, decisions, and life’s challenges.
Ignoring the teaching ministry of the Holy Spirit results in spiritual stagnation. However, yielding to Him establishes us in sound doctrine and truth. 2 Timothy 3:16 affirms that all Scripture is inspired by the Spirit of God and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, and for instruction in righteousness.
Therefore, take full advantage of the ministry of the Holy Spirit today. When He comes into your life, God will cease to be a mystery to you. You will no longer walk in the wilderness of life, for there will be light at all times.
CONFESSION
In the Name of Jesus Christ, I declare that I am Your sheep, Lord Holy Spirit. I hear Your voice as You teach me eternal truths, and I follow You as You guide and lead me in the right direction.
