1 John 3:1(KJV) Behold, what manner of love the Father hath bestowed upon us, that we should be called the sons of God: therefore the world knoweth us not, because it knew him not.
As believers, our relationship with God is unlike any other relationship in the world. While human relationships can break or falter, sonship with God is permanent. When we are born again, we are not only called His children — we share His very life, His nature, and His inheritance. Understanding our sonship transforms our mindset, and the way we live.
God’s love is unconditional and eternal. 1 John 3:1 tells us that the Father has called us His sons. “Beloved” means “always loved.” God’s love is not based on our performance, efforts, or works — it is intrinsic.
Being a son of God is more than a title — it is sharing His life and DNA. Romans 8:14–15 emphasizes that we are led by the Spirit and cry, “Abba, Father.” This intimacy is personal and relational, not based on religious duty.
Sonship gives us full acceptance into God’s family. It removes fear and leads to confidence in approaching God. It shapes our mindset to align with God’s perspective rather than worldly limitations. When you face challenges, remind yourself that you are God’s child — speak to Him freely and confidently.
Romans 8:17 teaches that we are heirs with Christ, and as joint-heirs, we have access to all that Jesus has. We share in His authority, blessings, and inheritance, and our position as sons empowers us to manifest God’s goodness on Earth.
Understanding your position as a son is vital. If you still see yourself as a servant, your relationship with God will always be limited by fear and distance. But when you know you are a son, you walk in freedom, confidence, and love. You realize you have access to all that the Father has, because you share His very life and nature.Halellujah!

DEEPER REFLECTION
Romans 8:14-15 – “For as many as are led by the Spirit of God, they are the sons of God. For you have not received the spirit of bondage again to fear, but you have received the Spirit of adoption, whereby we cry, ‘Abba, Father.’ And if children, then heirs; heirs of God, and joint-heirs with Christ.”
Galatians 4:7(KJV) Wherefore thou art no more a servant, but a son; and if a son, then an heir of God through Christ.
John 1:12-13(KJV) But as many as received him, to them gave he power to become the sons of God, even to them that believe on his name:Which were born, not of blood, nor of the will of the flesh, nor of the will of man, but of God.
