WHY YOU MUST PRAY

WHY YOU MUST PRAY

Luke 18:1(KJV) And he spake a parable unto them to this end, that men ought always to pray, and not to faint;

Prayer is not a religious routine; it’s the heartbeat of our relationship with God. When we pray, we engage the Father, not as distant beings, but as sons and daughters who belong to Him. God designed prayer to be our lifeline of fellowship — a continual connection that keeps our spirits alive and aligned with His will.

From the beginning, God walked and talked with man. He desired fellowship, not formality. It’s through prayer that we know the heart of God, understand His thoughts, and walk in His purpose.When you pray, you’re not trying to inform God — you’re communing with Him. You’re allowing His Spirit to shape your desires, renew your mind, and strengthen your faith.

Just as the body cannot live without oxygen, your spirit cannot live without prayer. Many believers grow weak not because the Word of God has failed, but because they have neglected the altar of prayer. Prayer keeps your spiritual fire burning and your discernment sharp.When you stop praying, your spirit becomes dull; when you pray consistently, you stay alert and sensitive to God’s voice.

Prayer is not only about asking God for things — it’s about aligning your will with His. In prayer, you exchange your weakness for His strength, confusion for His wisdom, and your plans for His divine purpose.

Jesus Himself prayed often. Before every major decision, he took time to pray. If the Son of God needed prayer to stay aligned with the Father, how much more must we pray?.Every revival, every transformation, every miracle begins in prayer. When believers pray, heaven responds. The power of God is released, and spiritual realities become earthly manifestations.

When you pray, heaven responds. Things begin to move in the unseen realm. Chains break, wisdom comes, favor is released, and divine strength is renewed.Hallelujah!

PRAYER

Dear Father, thank you for the privilege of fellowship with you through the Spirit in prayer. Thank you for the privilege to side with you and enforce your will in the earth and exercise dominion over circumstances, Satan and his cohorts of darkness, in Jesus’ Name.Amen.
