Building life through relationships

…Iron sharpeneth iron; so a man sharpeneth the countenance of his friend.Proverbs 27:17 (KJV)

School is not just about getting a job, it is about learning how to think, how to relate, and how to connect with people in ways that build your life. One of the greatest mistakes in life is thinking education is only for employment. True wealth often comes not from certificates, but from the relationships and networks you build along the way. A relationship can open a door that no degree can.

Success in life is not just about prayer and fasting. While prayer is powerful, it positions your spirit to relate better with others. Giving, forgiving, and sharing are all acts of relationship. Scripture says, “He that watereth shall be watered also himself” (Proverbs 11:25 KJV). You cannot give meaningfully without a connection. Giving without love or relationship lacks blessing, but when rooted in love and connection, it produces increase.

Your visibility in life does not come by fighting for recognition; But by relationships, visibility is created for you. Many jobs, opportunities, and promotions flow through relationships. Sometimes, without even applying, doors open because someone you related with spoke well of you. This is why church is a family: it is where God positions us in relationships that can carry us into our destiny.

The message of righteousness also changes how we relate with people. If you understand that you did nothing to earn your standing in Christ, you will show patience to others. We were once sinners by nature, but through Christ’s death, burial, and resurrection, our nature changed. Just as a mango tree cannot produce figs, the first man Adam could not produce righteousness. But in Christ, we now bear fruit of righteousness. Knowing this helps us walk in love, patience, and unity with others.

Therefore, build your life on meaningful relationships. Never despise anyone around you, because the one sitting besides you today may be tomorrow’s leader. The true measure of growth is not just knowledge, but how well you relate, love, and serve others. Relationships will take you further than your degree, and righteousness in Christ will empower you to live in harmony with others.Hallelujah!

PRAYER

Heavenly Father, thank You for the gift of relationships and for positioning me in the right places. Teach me to walk in love, patience, and understanding. I refuse to despise people, for I know You use relationships to lift and guide me into my destiny. Help me to walk in righteousness and to value every connection You bring my way, in Jesus’ Name. Amen.

Proverbs 18:24 (KJV) “A man that hath friends must shew himself friendly: and there is a friend that sticketh closer than a brother.”
