Acts 26:16 (KJV) But rise, and stand upon thy feet: for I have appeared unto thee for this purpose, to make thee a minister and a witness both of those things which thou hast seen, and of those things which I will appear unto thee;
As a believer, God has called you not just to live for yourself, but to actively participate in His kingdom agenda. You are a minister of the Gospel. This is not limited to pastors, evangelists, or teachers; every child of God has a role in soul winning. Every conversation, act of love, and obedience to God’s call positions us to impact lives for eternity.
Jesus’ ministry on earth showed the priority of saving souls. Matthew 4:19 (KJV) emphasizes that following Him is inseparable from evangelism: “Follow me, and I will make you fishers of men.” Everything Jesus did—from His compassion for the lost to His miracles—pointed toward one purpose: gathering souls for the kingdom. To neglect soul winning or sharing your faith, is to be unconsciously aligned with the enemy, whose goal is to steal, kill, and destroy, John 10:10(KJV ).
Being a minister of the gospel requires awareness and intentionality. You must recognize that God has placed people around you—neighbors, colleagues, family—for the express purpose of reaching them with the Gospel. Your words, your money, your influence, and even your daily actions are part of your ministry.
Therefore, as a born-again Christian, you must make sharing your faith with others that is your friends, family members, classmates and people in your vicinity a priority because it is a heavenly vision, not a one-time activity. When you align yourself with God’s agenda, you participate in building His kingdom and fulfilling His eternal purpose on earth. Hallelujah!
PRAYER
Dear Father, I thank you for entrusting me with the precious Gospel of our Lord Jesus Christ. I recognize the responsibility and honour it is to be a witness to my generation. My life is a testament to your love and grace, producing lasting fruit for your Kingdom. Thank you for the privilege to serve and represent this glorious Kingdom, in Jesus’ Name. Amen.
