The Power Of Imagination

The Power Of Imagination

Monday, September 15th

Genesis 11:6(KJV) And the LORD said, Behold, the people [is] one, and they have all one language; and this they begin to do: and now nothing will be restrained from them, which they have imagined to do.

Imagination is one of the greatest gifts God has given us. Everything that exists today was first formed in the unseen realm of thought. God imagined creation before He spoke it into existence, and because we are created in His image, we also carry the ability to picture, design, and create in our hearts before it manifests outwardly.

What you continually imagine will definitely manifest in the physical world. If you keep seeing yourself as defeated, poor, or unworthy, you will eventually live out that picture. Most Christians see their application letters rejected, and that is why they are jobless.Worry is a negative form of meditation, and as you continue seeing the wrong pictures, they will surely manifest in the physical world.

As a believer, you must be intentional about what fills your imagination. Meditate on God’s promises until they paint a new picture in your mind. Imagine yourself healed because the Word says, “Who his own self bare our sins in his own body on the tree, that we, being dead to sins, should live unto righteousness: by whose stripes ye were healed.(1 Peter 2:24). Imagine yourself prosperous; the Bible says, “Beloved, I wish above all things that thou mayest prosper and be in health, even as thy soul prospereth.(3 John 1:2). You will never attain anything in life that you have not seen with your spiritual eyes first.

Therefore, replace thoughts of defeat with pictures of victory. Replace fear with images of courage. See yourself as God sees you—righteous, strong, and full of purpose. As you align your inner vision with God’s promises, you will walk in the manifestation of God’s blessing in Christ Jesus. Hallelujah!

CONFESSION

My imaginative power is my creative ability. Therefore, as I pray in the spirit, the pictures of my glorious life in Christ flood my mind, and as I speak, they become real. There’re no impossibilities with me; I live the glorious and triumphant life in Christ. Hallelujah!

DEEPER REFLECTIONS

Genesis 30:37-39 And Jacob took him rods of green poplar, and of the hazel and chesnut tree; and pilled white strakes in them, and made the white appear which [was] in the rods. And he set the rods which he had pilled before the flocks in the gutters in the watering troughs when the flocks came to drink, that they should conceive when they came to drink. And the flocks conceived before the rods, and brought forth cattle ringstraked, speckled, and spotted.

Genesis 13:14-15 (KJV) And the Lord said unto Abram, after that Lot was separated from him, “Lift up now thine eyes, and look from the place where thou art northward, and southward, and eastward, and westward: For all the land which thou seest, to thee will I give it, and to thy seed forever.”

Genesis 6:5 (KJV) And God saw that the wickedness of man was great in the earth, and that every imagination of the thoughts of his heart was only evil continually.
