…….1 Peter 2:1-2 (KJV) Wherefore, laying aside all malice, and all guile, and hypocrisies, and envies, and all evil speaking, as newborn babes, desire the sincere milk of the Word, that ye may grow thereby.
You are a spirit man, with a soul, and you live in a body. Just as food is a necessity to your body, so is the Word of God to your spirit. This Word of God that we bring to you every everyday is for your growth. That is why you have to prioritize listening to and studying the Word of God. If you feed your flesh more than your spirit man, you are in trouble. The Bible says in Matthew 4:4: But He answered and said, It is written, Man shall not live by bread alone, but by every word that proceedeth out of the mouth of God.
Consistently feeding your spirit with the Word of God will yield results in your life.
A child does not need prayer to grow, neither will the baby feel the growth. As long as the child is feeding on the right food, he or she will definitely grow. This is the same for your spiritual growth.
You need to grow in the knowledge of God’s Word so that you can be an effective soul winner, intercessor, and minister of the Gospel. You need the Word of God because it is the sword of the Spirit, and as you speak it forth, it accomplishes things in the realm of the Spirit.
Ephesians 6:17: And take the helmet of salvation, and the sword of the Spirit, which is the Word of God. As a child of God, your pastor cannot help you beyond the Word of God. The best a pastor can do is to show you what the Word of God says concerning a situation you may be facing. A person who functions and operates by the Word of God cannot go wrong. Psalm 119:105: Thy Word is a lamp unto my feet, and a light unto my path.
Therefore, give yourself wholly to the Word of God, because it is the Word of God that can sustain your business, marriage, prosperity, and ministry. Psalm 16:5: The LORD is the portion of mine inheritance and of my cup: thou maintainest my lot.
CONFESSION
I confess that the Word of God is my spiritual food, guiding and sustaining me. I prioritize God's Word in my life, and I declare that it brings growth, wisdom, and effectiveness. The Word of God is my lamp and light, illuminating my path and empowering me to live a victorious life. I am rooted in God's Word, and it produces fruit in my life. Amen."

Colossians 3:16 Let the Word of Christ dwell in you richly in all wisdom; teaching and admonishing one another in psalms, hymns, and spiritual songs, singing with grace in your hearts to the Lord.
Hebrews 4:12 For the Word of God is quick, and powerful, and sharper than any two-edged sword, piercing even to the dividing asunder of soul and spirit, and of the joints and marrow, and is a discerner of the thoughts and intents of the heart.
Isaiah 55:10-11 For as the rain cometh down, and the snow from heaven, and returneth not thither, but watereth the earth, and maketh it bring forth and bud, that it may give seed to the sower and bread to the eater: so shall My Word be that goeth forth out of My mouth; it shall not return unto Me void, but it shall accomplish that which I please, and it shall prosper in the thing whereto I sent it.
