STRENGTHEN YOUR FAITH BY EXERCISE

God does not reward our faithfulness as Christians by giving us divine health and prosperity, both divine health and prosperity are a product of your faith. If you don’t develop your faith and make it stronger, you will suffer poverty, weaknesses, sickness and diseases. So, you must take responsibility as a child of God to grow your faith and put Satan where he belongs.

Look at our theme verse, it is the account of the father of faith Abraham. The Lord gave him a word about an heir “And, behold, the word of the LORD came unto him, saying, This shall not be thine heir; but he that shall come forth out of thine own bowels shall be thine heir” Genesis‬ ‭15‬:‭4‬ ‭KJV‬‬. The Lord spoke to Abraham when he was 75 years but Isaac was born when he was 100 years (Genesis 21:1-5 KJV).

For twenty five years he was waiting on the promise of the Lord. Our opening scripture says he didn’t waver in his faith but he was strong in faith giving glory to God. Abraham put his faith to work by giving glory to God for his son who was yet to be born. Today, the word of God may come to you as you are reading the bible or as you are listening to your pastor at church, and you know this is the word concerning the issue that has delayed. 

Even though there’s no physical evidence, you must continue to give glory to God for the results or the answers. He also didn’t consider the existing situation. Scripture says he didn’t consider the deadness of Sarah’s womb nor his own body dead. What has the doctor told you? Don’t consider it or any other report. Abraham had something he considered; the word that the Lord gave him. Use your faith filled words on your body and it will align in a matter of time and you will have a great testimony. PRAYER 

Dear Heavenly Father, I thank you for the message of faith you have given to me. I ask you to help me to focus on the word of God every day and put it to work. Thank you for the ministry of the Lord Holy Ghost as He guides me in the exercise of my faith in the name of the Lord Jesus Christ, Amen.
