“For in the gospel the righteousness of God is revealed—a righteousness that is by faith from first to last, just as it is written: “The righteous will live by faith.”” Romans 1:17 NIV.
The righteousness of God is not purchased from supermarkets or online or any market. Neither can it be bought from someone. God’s word shows us how it is manifested or revealed— through the preaching and teaching of the gospel. Not just church sermons but the teaching of the gospel of Jesus Christ only, not any other gospel.
The 16th Verse of Romans 1, gives us the context. “For I am not ashamed of the gospel of Christ:…” Romans 1:16 KJV. Very clear, the gospel of Christ not another one. What is the gospel of Jesus Christ? It’s the message of the purpose of His coming to the earth and His eternal plan for mankind.
When you have understood the message of righteousness, it becomes a force within you and this righteousness speaks, it’s not quiet. “But we receive the faith-righteousness that speaks an entirely different message:…..” Romans 10:6 TPT. It tells the world they have been reconciled in Christ, and justification is available for them in Christ.
Make up your mind to share with someone from this week forward, this daily devotional and make follow-up to know how it is impacting their lives. Invite them to church and to a PM, tell them testimonies of your transformation through the message of the gospel of Jesus Christ. If you do that weekly, you will realise you are much happier and fulfilled. Glory to Jesus, hallelujah.
All of us were sent by our commander in chief, Lord Jesus Christ to go into the world and proclaim the good news of His righteousness “Go ye therefore, and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost:” Matthew 28:19 KJV.
CONFESSION
I am sent by the Lord Jesus Christ to proclaim this good news. I share the gospel boldly, joyfully, and consistently. As I testify of my transformation, lives are impacted and faith is awakened.
