“You show that you are Christ’s letter, delivered by us. You weren’t written with ink but with the Spirit of the living God. You weren’t written on tablets of stone but on tablets of human hearts.” 2 Corinthians 3:3 CEB
Imagine a very renowned athlete or footballer, like Maradona. After many years of retirement, his grandson visits his house and notices the numerous trophies displayed on the board. Intrigued, he asks, “Grandpa, what are all these trophies, and how did you get them?” The grandfather, despite his advanced age and limited mobility, will take the time to narrate his past achievements and exploits to his grandson.
Those trophies serve as tangible proof of his remarkable accomplishments and the sacrifices he made throughout his illustrious career.
Do you know that the new creation is the trophy of Christ suffering and triumphing over Satan, sin, death, and every work of darkness? Look at what the opening scripture says: He triumphed over Satan and his cohort of darkness. Hallelujah.
You are now seated together with Him “He raised us up with Christ the exalted One, and we ascended with him into the glorious perfection and authority of the heavenly realm, for we are now co-seated as one with Christ!” Ephesians 2:6 TPT. We are the trophy of His victory over Satan and every element of the kingdom of darkness.
“Then Jesus made a public spectacle of all the powers and principalities of darkness, stripping away from them every weapon and all their spiritual authority and power to accuse us. And by the power of the cross, Jesus led them around as prisoners in a procession of triumph. He was not their prisoner; they were his!“ Colossians 2:15 TPT. Notice what our Lord Jesus did to Satan and his demons, He shamed them in the open, and now we are a success, victorious, blessed and powerful. Hallelujah.
Apostle Paul called us letters of Christ “As a result of our ministry, you are living letters written by Christ, not with ink but by the Spirit of the living God—not carved onto stone tablets but on the tablets of tender hearts.” 2 Corinthians 3:3 TPT. We have become what men can read as proof of his accomplishments- His trophy, blessed be the name of the Lord.
CONFESSION
I am an epistle of Christ written not with ink but by the Spirit of God. I am what people read as proof of His accomplishment—His letter, His testimony, His trophy. Glory to Jesus. Hallelujah. Amen.
