“And the effect of righteousness will be peace [internal and external], And the result of righteousness will be quietness and confident trust forever.” Isaiah 32:17 AMP
Righteousness working in a man will produce three things according to our opening scripture: 1)- Peace 2)- quietness and 3)- confident trust forever. Peace is translated from a Hebrew word Shalom Shalom, which means completeness, soundness in body, prosperity, health, welfare and tranquility.
Righteousness brings perfection in your life and everything around you. Completeness in your health, finances, marriage, ministry, business, character and more. That inner sense of calm, serene or worry free that transcends human understanding as stated in Philippians 4:7.
Look at this amazing revelation given to the great Apostle of Christ in Romans 5:1 TPT “Our faith in Jesus transfers God’s righteousness to us and he now declares us flawless in his eyes. This means we can now enjoy true and lasting peace with God, all because of what our Lord Jesus, the Anointed One, has done for us.”
Because of the righteousness of God that was transferred to us through our faith in Jesus, we enjoy true and lasting peace with God and we are flawless in His sight. The effect of this everlasting righteousness is everlasting peace. Hallelujah.
PRAYER
Father, I thank You for the gift of righteousness that I have received through faith in Jesus Christ. Thank You that You have declared me flawless in Your sight and have established me in everlasting peace. In Jesus’ Name, Amen.
