1 Corinthians 12:27(TPT) You are the body of the anointed one,and each of you is a unique and a vital part of it.
Every believer in Christ is unique and a very vital part of the body. You are not just part of the Body, you are a vital part of it. Just as every cell in a human body plays an essential role, so also every member in the Body of Christ carries a divine function that contributes to growth of the body of Christ.
You are not in the Body to be idle or passive. You have something that you can supply to the Body of Christ. The time you spend praying for souls, carrying out visitations, organizing the sanctuary, and everything you do in the house of the Lord contributes to the strength and growth of the Body of Christ. Therefore, do not underestimate what you can contribute to the Body of Christ.
To be unique means you are different, your gifts, abilities, and grace are not like anyone else’s. Therefore, there’s no need for competition in the Body of Christ. Each person supplies something distinct and necessary. You are a vital part; without your supply, the body cannot grow effectively.
The Bible says in Ephesians 4:16 (TPT): “For his body has been formed in his image and is closely joined together and constantly connected as one. And every member has been given divine gifts to contribute to the growth of all. ”Did you see that? Every member,not some; has been given divine gifts! You are loaded with abilities from God. These gifts are already in your spirit. They are not waiting to be given; they have been given.
As you serve, you begin to discover more of them, abilities you never knew you had! It is selfish to sit back and do nothing when you know your contribution can help others grow. And as we all supply our part, something beautiful happens, the whole Body grows, becomes strong, and is built up in love.
Therefore refuse to be silent. Refuse to be idle. Rise up and function in your grace. Your part is important, your gift is needed, and your presence makes a difference. Hallelujah!!
CONFESSION
“I am a vital part of the Body of Christ, loaded with divine gifts and abilities. I refuse to be idle or silent. I rise up and function in my grace, contributing to the growth and strength of the Body of Christ. My presence makes a difference, and my gifts are needed. I am empowered to serve, and I will not underestimate my importance in the Body of Christ. I am a unique and essential part of the Body, and I will walk in the fullness of my gifts, in Jesus’ name. Amen.”
