Understanding Meditation

If you are a minister of the gospel, your main responsibility is sharing God's Word. Avoid alternatives that stem from fleshly desires. Remember, alternatives can lead to detrimental consequences, just like Sarah's suggestion to Abraham, which ultimately led to the presence of terrorists in the world. Do not lower your standards. Practice "Kinging" – living according to God's word. Be careful of those who disregard the message of this house. You cannot build your life solely on YouTube teachings.

As 1 Corinthians 15:33 warns, "Do not be misled: 'Bad company corrupts good character.'" A man whose friends are drunkards will eventually be influenced; it is only a matter of time. Friendship is by choice, not by force. Any friendship that does not add value to you is a wrong association.

Self-deception occurs when you hear God's Word but fail to act on it. Recognize when someone is headed in the wrong direction by understanding scripture. Do not build your life on emotions; instead, rely on God's guidance and voice, accessible through His Word which is the greatest asset of a man.

You cannot be taught a lifetime journey in two months. Jesus says, "You err because you do not know the Word." Wisdom is measured by the depth of revelation from God's Word. There is a present-hour truth; a person can only be relevant in the kingdom by embracing this truth.

Study the character of those around you; if someone is not acting right, refuse to walk with them before their actions influence you negatively. Many Christians have failed in life due to wrong companionships, despite good intentions. Jesus teaches, "You will have what you say." You cannot remain silent. Africans often explain their failures by assassinating others' characters. You do not rise by bringing others down.

Psalms 119:97-99 teaches us that meditation means to ponder, think, or reflect. It involves imagining, and this imagination leads to action. As a Christian, you need this simple discipline. You do not commit evil without first meditating on it. Your actions are products of meditation. You cannot change a person's life until you change their thoughts.

Paul advises, "Whatever is good, pure, and of good report, think about these things." The content of your meditation determines the direction of your life. If you think according to God's Word, you will speak and act accordingly.
