Abiding in the Church (Acts 2:40-43)
Christians must continue steadfastly in the teaching of our ministry. A commitment to something means you are committed to hear and to do. A child who eats everywhere is a very indiscipline child. He can easily be poisoned. It's not enough to hear the word; you must also do it.

A shepherd leads the sheep to pasture that is not poisonous. A sheep who is on his own can be poisoned. The word "steadfast" means to be constantly diligent, to adhere, and to give oneself continually.

The word "fellowship" means partnership, participation. A family that is not moving is not healthy. You don't need a prophet to tell you that there is a problem in the family when there is no laughter, no increase; you know the family is sick.

When a Christian gets bored with Christianity, it means he has not been active. When you are active, you cannot be bored with Christianity. When you are sick, WhatsApp won't take you to the hospital. When you are broke, WhatsApp won't make you rich. You need a relationship with people.

When there is fellowship, you can now attain unity of faith and unity of purpose. When you are together, you become a force, and fear comes over people (Psalm 92:13-14).

Acts 2:40-43

And with many other words he bore witness and continued to exhort them, saying, 'Save yourselves from this crooked generation.' So those who received his word were baptized, and there were added that day about three thousand souls. And they devoted themselves to the apostles' teaching and the fellowship, to the breaking of bread and the prayers.

Psalm 92:13-14

They are planted in the house of the Lord;
They flourish in the courts of our God.
They still bear fruit in old age;
They are ever full of sap and green.

Key Nuggets:
