"A merry heart doeth good like medicine" (Proverbs 17:22). God wants you joyful. It's not what you have that makes you joyous, it is the joy you have that brings what you ought to have. If your focus is on the light, you will not see darkness. When we got born again, He didn't make us so that we can become kings, He made us kings.
When you don't have a personal growing relationship with the Master, you are easily discouraged, you get bored. Christ's birth is the beginning of the new era or a new dispensation. God was not universally known initially to everyone; He would reveal Himself in prophets. That's why the Bible says, "God revealed His ways to Moses and His actions to the people of Israel" (Psalm 103:7).
Men never had entry to the Holy of Holies; this was the dispensation before the coming of Christ. But when Christ was born, it marked the beginning of a new era or dispensation. When He was born, life was born, the divine life was born. When He was born, eternal life was born. "That which was from the beginning, which we have heard, which we have seen with our eyes, which we have looked at and our hands have touched—this we proclaim concerning the Word of life" (1 John 1:1).
Without the birth of Christ, humanity would remain humanity. The birth of Christ brought humanity into divinity. The era of unlimited access to the divine presence of God. Christ brought unlimited access to divine life. The birth of Christ has brought an era of unlimited possibilities.
"If you can believe, all things are possible to him who believes" (Mark 9:23). To believe means you accept what God said is true and do it. When you act your faith, your life becomes easy. "Most assuredly, I say to you, he who believes in Me, the works that I do he will do also; and greater works than these he will do, because I go to My Father" (John 14:12).
Our oneness with Christ cannot be separated. When Jesus was born, the era of deathlessness and agelessness began. Men can now pass from age to agelessness and from death to deathlessness. In His eternal plan, where are you fitting?
He brought an era of unconditional love. Before Jesus came, we were to love our neighbors as we love ourselves. "A new commandment I give to you, that you love one another; as I have loved you, that you also love one another" (John 13:34-35). Jesus gave us a new commandment.
When someone says you are ugly, it's a reflection of that person. You don't have to be offended because Jesus brought in a new era of unconditional love (Agape).
Death, according to God, is not the cessation of life; death is separation from God's presence. "The wisdom you need for anything is in the Word." It's the glory that makes you visible. Success is impacting your world with the investment of your life.
