The Urgency of soul winning

It’s foolishness not to go out for soul winning. When you don’t go out, you are acting against your nature. As Mark 16:15 says, “Go ye into all the world, not some part.” Practically speaking, the Lord has given you the entire globe. Preach to every creature – cats, dogs, and every creature.

A story was told of a man who went to preach to every creature and made an altar call. A person who wanted to commit suicide came out to give his heart to Christ. As 2 Corinthians 5:13 reminds us, it’s the love of God that compels us.

Some people think there are many ways to heaven, but there is only one way – Jesus, the Son of God (Acts 4:12). It’s only through the name of Christ that all men can be saved. There is no other names except the name of Christ. John 3:16 emphasizes that the love of God is the foundation of all things.

The love of God drives us to go and reach out. Someone can’t change the fact that it’s only through Jesus that anyone can be saved (Acts 4:12). John 14:6 declares, “I am the way, the truth, and the life; no one comes to the Father except through me.” Jesus wasn’t guessing; He was sure of what He was talking about.

Without Jesus, you can’t have eternal life (John 10:28, 1 John 5:11-12). If your mother was sick and went to the hospital, and they told her she had cancer, and someone had the medicine but didn’t tell you, and your mother dies, would you be happy? If you had the medication, would you keep quiet? No, you wouldn’t.

When you receive salvation, you have already come to the Father. If someone knows that for somebody to come to God, he must believe in Christ but doesn’t tell them, isn’t that wickedness? Yes, it’s wickedness.

Ephesians 4:17-19 explains that when you see someone engaging in sinful behavior, there’s blindness in their eyes. It’s not that they inherently hate God; it’s Satan blinding them and putting hatred for God in their hearts.

Love helps you see beyond your feelings (John 8:12). Christ is the light that shines in them. When they hear the Word, they receive the light. We must understand that without Jesus, a man is hopeless (John 15:2-5).

You can do many things, but in the spiritual realm, the outcome is nothing. A believer can do nothing without Christ, and a non-believer can do nothing without Christ. We must understand why Jesus came.

1 John 3:8 reminds us, “He came to destroy the works of the devil.” When we share the gospel, it destroys the works of the devil in that person. When you share the gospel, you prolong His work of destroying the devil’s works (Acts 10:38).

If you don’t go out for soul winning, the people causing havoc in your community will not be changed. Jesus delegated the power that’s on earth and heaven to us.
